Finally a thermometer that I am able to use. I bought one from a local big box store and I would constantly get an "error" reading. I guess I did not slide it across the forehead correctly. It was very frustrating, so I stopped using it. I was a bit hesitant to order another electric thermometer, but my kids hate the archaic stick that takes forever and I always wonder if I cleaned it well enough from the last sick child. This one is super easy to use. You just touch it to the temple, push the button, and then touch it to the forehead then other temple (keep the button pushed). So easy, fast, and accurate! Thanks for a great product. :)

This is the best thermometer I have ever owned. I have my grandkids over a lot and I take care of them when they are sick so their parents can work. I need a quick and accurate thermometer on hand to check their temps and report to Mom. This iProven duo thermometer is quick, works in seconds, and is very accurate. It can be used on the forehead or in the ear and I find it accurate either way. It flashes a green light if low grade or normal and flashes red if there is a fever. The display is lighted and large enough to read easily.I am very please with this thermometer!

Super easy, fast and accurate! This thermometer is fabulous! Having the option to take a temperature in the ear or forehead is a huge improvement over trying to get your kids to sit still long enough to take their temperature orally. I've taken my temperature back to back repeatedly to ensure I received consistent results, and I did!

This thermometer arrived just in time for us. A couple days after it came, our entire family came down with the flu so temp taking was something we did a lot of. I was pleased with this thermometer. I love that it has a forehead option and a removable cap so you can also use this in the ear, with separate buttons that are calibrated for each area. It has a large lit screen so temp taking in the night is easy, and it comes with some helpful instructions for temp taking, like holding button down and taking temp at several points on forehead, and temple for a more accurate reading. The slight cons of this are that it makes a loud beep each time and it can't be turned off, and that it must be in direct contact with skin on the forehead to work correctly . But these are slight. Over all very happy and we have used it a lot.

I am loving this thermometer! I love the fact you have the option to either take a forehead reading or an ear reading or both. Simple to use. Also love the face it has a backlight. Makes it easier to read...especially if ther is little to no light in the room. Highly recommend for new parents and grandparents. Actually every house should have one of these on hand.

A lifesaver! I got this in the mail and the next day my daughter got sick. It was great because I could take her temperature while she slept. It is pretty accurate once you get the hang of how it works for the head part. I used it a few times and made sure I was getting consistent readings and I also compared it against an oral thermometer and for the head readings it really does work fantastic. No more worry about germs on my thermometers. I am a weirdo like that. I dont care for the ear part of it though. For my kids ears it was too hard to pull the ear and point the sensor in the right direction to get an accurate reading. So if you are looking to get it for the ear part of it, I would probably not do that. Just use it for the head. The storage pouch is great too. Very soft, and easy to open in a hurry, which is important in my world when I want to get to my kids quickly.

This is a nice temporal/ear Thermometer. I like that it has a dual use. When my kids are sick the last thing they want is for me to put a thermometer in their mouth. That problem is now solved. The reading is quick, and light up green for normal, and red for a higher temperature. The cap is removed easily to enable the ear function. You just put it to the side of your head and press the button, and you are done, easy peasy.

As an older person, I have used various thermometers for years. They seem to be cheap enough now, but, they also seem to disappear when needed the most and need disposable parts. Recently, I had a medical procedure, and, as a result, had a fever. Unusual for me, and no thermometer after I was home. I'm not doctor, but I do understand the dangers of a high fever. I also would like to know if my temperature is getting higher or lower as I take medicine to reduce it. Once again, my wife went to the local drugstore to buy a cheapo thermometer. What a pain! Under your tongue and there is still a disposable part. So, this thermometer was purchased for "future fevers". I like the "forehead" measurement feature. It seems to measure "correctly" as I am a little below the standard "98.6". Easy to use., I just hope I can find it when I need it! I would recommend not leaving batteries in it for years as they may corrode. But, you then have to have (buy) batteries when needed.

It works. I was so excited to receive this that I activated the batteries and tried to use it without reading the directions it works much better once I read those. The perfect way to use this is to run it a line from one temple across the forehead and to the other temple. Fast, accurate and easy to use once you read the enclosed instructions. I had a daughter running a fever yesterday when this arrived. I already had another thermometer out and was able to get the same readings on both thermometers normal for myself and 101.2 on my under the weather daughter. So far I am finding I prefer the temple forehead combo to the ear method. I will update in the future as we use it in our large family. Very accurate! I took the temperature 4 different times going back and forth between the head and ear features and I got the same reading 3/4 times. The temp that wasn't the same was only off by 0.2. Great to use for a sick baby. I also expected this device to be bigger, but it's only the size of a can of pop which is better. It also came with a traveling case. Great price. Overall I would buy again.

I absolutely adore this thermometer. I purchased this after my father was diagnosed with leukemia and we need to check the temperature often in order to keep a track on potentially fatal infections. It is a highly accurate thermometer and i have used it even during my dad's hospitalizations. I love that it is very easy to use, especially the forehead readings, as it does not bother the patient during crucial rest moments. I have compared its accuracy with the oral thermometers in the hospital rooms and this is usually off by only 0.2 degrees (please also remember that oral temperature is always a little higher than the forehead one). This thermometer gives you a reading in 2 or 3 seconds and is much, much quicker than the oral thermometers in the hospitals. If the body temperature is a little on the higher side then the screen turns red, if not it turns green. The ear option is just as accurate as the forehead one and for that reason i have not used it very often. I can not stress it enough how much i love this device and the price here is much cheaper than the ones at the local drugstores (and i have looked at several drugstores). Purchase this; you are not going to be disappointed and i am sure every family needs one.
